I would tax old men who stand in water

I'm suddenly struck with the urge to post. Seems like I haven't posted anything but writing community stuff and book reviews. Speaking of which, here's a new short creepy thing I wrote. And expect me to write about China Mieville's Perdido Street Station soon. Commence random update.

This cat has taken my advice regarding exercise quite literally. It played tether ball with the bag of valerian root. That's the best picture I have. But it actually did bat the bag around and around the pole a few times. Quite unique, since most of the other cats just lie on their backs and rub it on their faces.

I didn't crawl under my house this weekend. I'm a bit upset by that. I was looking forward to lying on my back and squeezing through a tiny tiny door to insulate the pipes under my bathroom while my wife screamed at me from the yard, "Look out for the spine eating bugs!!!" I pushed away the cinder block that guards the little door. Dragged open the door which had a good amount of dirt and grass blocking it. Angered a worm that was enjoying the wet and darkness within. Shined in my flashlight. Found this big damn pipe thing not more than a foot inside. With that there, I couldn't get very far under the house. So, my adventure was cut short. At least I still have fond memories of crawling through the ceiling in my college dorm from one room to another.

Hee! Next time you get a chance to visit IN we should all go caving... methinks you would seriously get a thrill from Buckner's cave.

Maybe so. I have mixed feelings about caves. The underside of my house isn't too far from daylight. Jocelyn went caving once in West Virginia...and I was little disturbed by some of the stuff she had to do down there. So far down. In the dark. On the slopes of muddy rock in which you could fall to your death.

Depends on the cave and how I'm feeling, I suppose.
