(no subject)

I'm in South Dakota and I can hear my lawn growing.

If I had a prairie dog colony and a herd of bison, I wouldn't have to mow.

It's a good thing I borrowed the neighbor's mower.

This is why I have [livejournal.com profile] betsielawnbott

Of course, the sellers of our house didn't mow the lawn, and we are taking our sweet time moving in.... and so now it's so long Betsie needs help..... she did half of it, and it looks like some kid did half of it and gave up... Hopefully this weekend!

Wow. Betsie can visit me anytime.

My lawn started to look so intimidating when I returned from vacation. Out west, it's so dry and the natural prairie grass doesn't get too long. Virginia looks like a rain forest in comparison.

Although I can't understand the people who create the unnatural green lawns, which surely require tons of extra water and fertilizer, in that dry prairie environment.
