I'm in South Dakota and I can hear my lawn growing.
If I had a prairie dog colony and a herd of bison, I wouldn't have to mow.
It's a good thing I borrowed the neighbor's mower.

My lawn started to look so intimidating when I returned from vacation. Out west, it's so dry and the natural prairie grass doesn't get too long. Virginia looks like a rain forest in comparison.
Although I can't understand the people who create the unnatural green lawns, which surely require tons of extra water and fertilizer, in that dry prairie environment.
