I call out to my wife, "What's the plural of ukase?"

She looks at me strangely. "It's ookahzee." I stare at her, she spells it out, first in Russian, then in English: "U-K-A-Z-I."

I look at the keyboard and just hit the s-key.

Silly Russian speakers. They all just want to make my life difficult, especially this one.
