Evil Plan: Phase 1

The wife and I enjoy regular romps through the yard in search of our pet tumbleweed. The winds have been high lately, letting the tumbleweed run free as it was meant to. I think Virginia needs more tumbleweed. If only somebody would start ebaying more tumbleweeds. We'd buy them and try to introduce Russian Thistle to Virginia. The nonnative plant would run wild here. The landscape would be thick with tumbleweeds at certain times of the year. Weather reports would include measurements and predictions for tumbleweed storms. Traffic would need to be rerouted as avalanches of dried Russian Thistle rolled through towns. Hollywood would do a shot for shot remake of the classic film The Blob, using tumbleweeds rather than grape jelly. Thick with Thistle, the land would only be safe for Brer Rabbit. Now...what to do for Phase 2 of my evil plan?

phase: order seeds, and scatter them merrily about the countryside, ala johnny appleseed. Only you'd be Tommy Tumbleweed!
