".Net Framework," Publisher = O'Reilly

"Be aware that the type library doesn't let you reimport a type library that has been previously exported by the type library exporter. In other words, if you try to use tlbimp.exe on hello.tlb, which was generated by tlbexp.exe, tlbimp.exe will barf at you."

"Barf" is a word that should be in the vocabulary of every technical writer.

"Barf" is a good word. I'm just surprised to find it in an O'Reilly text book. Their books are rarely irreverent.

I'm with you on the foobar thing. I don't understand that. Never liked it.

I can make a concession for the Hello World. It's a quaint tradition. Although I often change it to "hollow world."

FUBAR. You *do* know the derivation, right? It keeps it at least a little amusing for me whenever I run across it in publication.

Yup. An acronym coined by the military, I believe.
