Then again, I'd rather see the word "barf" than see "$string("Hello world!")" or "foo" or "bar" or any varient of FUBAR... I'm going to beat someone with a dead cow if I have to read another programming book with those examples.

I can make a concession for the Hello World. It's a quaint tradition. Although I often change it to "hollow world."
