HamHam surprise
Around 3:30 this afternoon, as the Dish Network guy was loading his tools back into his van, my wife gleefully grabbed the remote and turned to the Cartoon Network. "YAY! HAMTARO!" she said, eyes alight with glee.
She settled back into the grey slouchy chair and announced, "my work here is done. I'm done moving. I have TV again."
Somehow, I don't think she understands that she exists for reasons other than Hamtaro. Ah, well. Such is life. I did manage to convince her to go buy some CAT5, though she opted for buying long lengths, rather than picking up a spool and crimpers and ends. She promises she'll tack it to the walls, but I suspect she's just going to run it straight through the doorways, from the router to my computer. Ahem. This will not do.

Then again, an entire spool of CAT5 isn't exactly cheap either...and ends are quite the expensive crappy little things. :(

Wireless is also good, but between the distance and the number of walls to your office, I'm a little skeptical about how effective it would be for you.

On the other hand, it's kind of a pain in the ass in an apartment. My neighbor's phone kept knocking my router offline until I changed the channel on the router.
