Aria of the Day

The late, great Luciano Pavarotti sings "Un'aura amorosa" by W.A. Mozart. After 3.5 years of voice training doing scales and exercises, this is the first real piece of music I'm attempting. No doubt Pavarotti's beard trimmings could have sung better than I do now, but I'm think I'm ready for it.

Speaking of firsts, I have my first house recital this Sunday (my voice teacher has all her pupils stand up and sing something for everyone else). Noah'll be there, so he can offer objective (bwaha!) criticism. :)

I don't think my teacher does recitals. Although I sing in front of people frequently, because there are so many people coming and going in her house. What are you singing in your first house recital?
