(no subject)

They say, "If you love something, set it free."

Our precious tumbleweed has finally flown the coop. Yesterday's wind carried it out of the yard. Perhaps even now it is rolling down the street, seeking its fortune. Of course, we were looking for it on the ground. Perhaps it's stuck in a tree like a kitten. If so, I intend to call the fire department to get it down. Or maybe it was on the ground and I just couldn't see it because my glasses are so scratched I wander around seeing the world as if I were wearing goggles full of spoiled milk.

Fare ye well, tumbleweed.

'Tis a truly sad day.

"If you love something, set it free."

...and if it doesn't come back, hunt it down and kill it!

Maybe it's in a tree somewhere, waiting for you to come by so it can try to kill you.

a silver lining in every cloud...

Yeah, but imagine the look on peoples faces as they realize a tumbleweed has just randomly rolled by them! :)

Oh, *dear* . . .

Erm.

*waves a somewhat green-faced goodbye to the tumbleweed*

I feel very saddened by your loss. I do hope somebody finds it!

And I hope it is not being held for ransom either. That would be very low and inhumane.

Maybe I should shut up before I give you an ulcer...

Maybe the tumbleweed is seeking another tumbleweed to love? Maybe the cows whispered that Valentines Day was coming?

Or maybe I kidnapped it!

Is it too soon to replace your lost tumbleweed? If not, we have a wide array of poor homeless tumbleweeds for adoption. Let me know and I will be happy to choose a suitable one for you and your family.
